Classes

Courses & Classes

At Brunetta Blacksmithing we offer several different types of classes, from basic blacksmithing to get you used to the hammer and anvil, to tool making, and eventually forge welding. We will also offer a beginning bladesmithing class (more on that to come).

In Fall, we will offer a host of makers classes that range from beginners to advanced and focus on the completion of a product. This may include hooks, candle holders, bottle openers or even fireplace tools.

Also in Fall, we will offer group nights where you and your friends can get hammered – the blacksmithing way.  So stay tuned for that as well! In the meantime, check out course descriptions and timing below.

All beginning blacksmithing classes include time, materials, tools and safety equipment.  If you have your own, feel free to bring them to class.  You can sign up for a single class or an entire beginning course.

All students are required to sign a waiver and to adhere to the safety requirements of the shop as well as listen and respond to the direction of the instructor.  By completing these three classes students are able to attend any Open Shop Hours.

Class space is limited to 4 – 6 people. Students under the age of 16 must have an adult in attendance. Classes are cash only at this time.  No refunds, however in some cases we can schedule additional shop dates for completion.
